Hey Friends!

Can you believe it’s April? My little girl is turning 5 in a couple of days and I thought it would be fun to create a card for kids. The Avery Elle Look How Big set is just adorable!

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers, then die-cut them to work on the background.

Reds:  R32, R35, R39
Blues:  B0000
Yellows:  Y11, Y17, RY27
Purples:  BV000, BV02
Greens:  YG06, YB09, G17
Grays:  C0, C4
Browns:  E40, E30, E31, E33, E23, E25, E04

My background is ink-blended with Broken China, Seedless Preserves, and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. I didn’t blend the ink to the outer edges and when done, I die-cut the stitching border and splattered it with white paint.

To finish, I attached my images and embossed sentiment using foam adhesive. I also added glossy accents to the bigger owl’s glasses for more interest.
