Simon Says Stamp – Suzy’s Sunshine and Rainbows Watercolor Panels

Hi Friends!

I’m here today with a quick card using one of Suzy Plantamara’s Watercolor Panels from the All The Feels Release! You all know how much I love rainbows so I am definitely in love with this release’s set! There are so many rainbow illustrations in the Sunshine and Rainbows set!

I used Karin markers to color today’s panel. I first outlined the clouds directly with Cool Aqua (204) and blended it out with a damp brush. Just a subtle outline on the clouds. Then, I colored the rainbow using Rose Pink (168), Pale Orange (357), and Turquoise (654). Finally, I colored in the hearts with Magenta Red (170). I love how quick this was!

To give my panel more interest, I splattered it with perfect pearls mixed in some water, white and black paint. It gives it a lot of extra texture.

To kick it up another notch, I added Glossy Accents to my hearts and rainbow bands. I like to put it all on a cardbase first and used a layer of foam to ensure it adheres down nicely to minimize warpage from the glossy accents.
