Lawn Fawn – Lucky Duck Mother’s Day Card

Hi, Friends!

I’m on the Lawn Fawn Blog today with a video and am also sharing here and on my YouTube channel as well. I created a Mother’s Day card using the adorable Rub-A-Dub-Dub set along with the Bayou Backdrop dies.

The Bayou Backdrop set is versatile and I love the included pond and cattail dies- which I die-cut and added some ink-blending and Copic coloring to to add color.

Copic colors used:
Duck: [W00, W1, W3], [Y11, Y13, Y15], [Y11, Y15, YR68], R20
Greens: YG06, YG09
Browns: E30, E33, E35

Distress Oxide Inks used:
Salty Ocean
Rustic Wilderness
Antique Linen

I used Moonstone cardstock for the pond and Cilantro cardstock for the Simple Grassy Hillsides panel. and ink-blended the background/sky over white cardstock. Don’t you love that upside-down duck in the water? That wave is die-cut in the pond using the Ocean Wave Accents die.

Once everything was colored and ink-blended, a quick stitched border and some scene building finishes this lucky duck Mother’s Day card. I hope you enjoyed it! Don’t miss the video – I appreciate you watching! All supplies are linked below.
