Sunny Studio – Color My World

Hi Friends!

I’m here to share three fun and colorful cards today using stamped images from the Sunny Studio Color My World set. I used a few dies and the Sunny Studio Teacher Appreciation set to help out with my sentiments as well.

The stamp set is adorable, but I have to say – it took me hours to stamp. I did 3 sets of crayons and 2 sets of pencils in rainbow colors and it took me about 5 hours. I’m SLOW! Using a die-cut template in a stamp tool (like the MISTI) is really helpful. If you’re good at stamping without a positioner – it might go faster!

My first card is a mini slimline card using the pencils. I staggered the pencils on a card panel and used Glad Press ‘N Seal to pick them up, then I trimmed it to fit my card panel. I flipped the whole thing over to add foam adhesive and attached the pencils to a white card panel. Since it took me so long to color the ends of the pencil too, I didn’t have the heart to toss them, so I added them to the other side of the card too.

My second card is a set of rainbow crayons paired with the Altenew Tall Alpha Dies. I die-cut each letter in rainbow colored cardstock to coordinate and stacked them with 2 layers of white to give them some height. I then embossed the word teacher from the Teacher Appreciation set. I fussy cut around the word to adhere it over the tall die-cut letters.

My last card uses 2 sets of rainbow crayons fanning out from the circular sentiment from the Teacher Appreciation stamp set as well. I arranged all the crayons with the sentiment and used Glad Press ‘N Seal again to pick it all up and hold it in position before adding foam tape for dimension.

I hope you like these cards! Getting 3 projects after hours of stamping makes it all worth it! I rarely mass produce and could’ve made them all the same as layouts take me forever to decide on – but I enjoyed making them so much! Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!
