Pinkfresh Studio – Floral Focus

Hey Friends!

I’m here to share another card made using an illustration by my friend, Emily Midgett! The Floral Focus set is gorgeous and I will need to use it again and color it! For today’s card, I used the Floral Focus Layering Stencils to add color.

I started by stamping the image on a white card panel. Then, I added color, layering one stencil at a time (there are 5).

When I was done, I used a black Copic marker to color in the background to create more contrast and to help the blooms “pop.” I used white and gold paint to splatter my panel and used a white gel pen to also add find dots to the flower’s centers.

I finished my card by embossing a sentiment from the Friendship Blooms stamp set and fussy-cutting around it. I feel this was the best way to add a sentiment without covering up too much of the blooms.
