Hi Friends!

I’m so excited to have a new Mama Elephant card to share with you! I adore the Koala Hugs set and had to have it when I saw it!

I stamped and colored my images using Copic markers. Usually this part takes forever – but it was fairly simple since koalas are gray and there isn’t much else to them.

Koala:  R20, W0, W2, W4, W6, W9
Leaves and Branches;  G43, G45, E33, E35, E37

To create my background, I ink-blended two panels – one using Rustic Wilderness with Mowed Lawn and the second using Salvaged Patina and Mermaid Lagoon. I splattered each with the darker color. On the blue panel, I sprayed it with water and on the green panel, I splattered it with white paint.

I die-cut the green panel using the Leafy Cover Die to make a forest-y border for koalas. I adhered it over the blue panel and started building my scene. I stamped the sentiment once I was sure I knew where I wanted all my images to be and finished by adhering the images down, some directly and some with foam adhesive.
