I’m sharing more 3D flowers today! As difficult it is to mail these, I’m happy with keeping these cards on display in my craftroom forever 😅. I love 3D flowers and have been using the Tim Holtz Shaping Kit more and more. Adding curves to petals couldn’t be easier!

I used two sets of dies from Tim Holtz/Sizzix today – the Small Tattered Florals set and the Blooms set. The Blooms set is more 2D – which I used for for my floral spray. The Small Tattered Florals set is a set of 3 shapes in several sizes, used to create the 3D pink flowers on my card.

I used Simon Says Stamp cardstock to die-cut all the pieces and inked them with coordinating Distress Oxide Inks (Mowed Lawn, Worn Lipstick, Gathered Twigs, Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber). For the purple, I also used a Copic marker (BV13) to add a darker shade. I pieced it all together and adhered the pieces together using distress collage medium. For the 3D flowers, I pierced a hole through all of the centers and threaded the stamen through them and glued the ends to the back to hold it all in place with hot glue.

I created my floral spray by centering the 3D flowers, then adhering the 2D elements all around, then attaching my 3D flowers with more hot glue. To give it more interest and texture, I splattered it with white and gold paint.

I finished by adding a simple sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Family Sentiments. I hope you enjoyed this mini slimline card! Today’s card is 3 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ card.
