Miss Ink Stamps – Rainbow Builder Stencils

I love rainbows and am always happy to share rainbow projects. Today’s card is created using Miss Ink Stamps Rainbow Builder Stencils – a unique way to build a rainbow by ink-blending! For these projects with intricate areas, I love to use finger daubers. The Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Pack Blender Brushes are color coded and are so easy to blend with. I used every brush from the set as there are lots of layers to today’s rainbow.

There are three stencils and there are 2+ bands on each stencil, so some masking is required if you want clean stenciling. For the main bands, I was able to blend without masking, but definitely need to use Post-It tape to mask the decorative bands of the third stencil.

I used Distress Oxide inks to blend all the layers on today’s card. When done, I trimmed the sides and splattered it with gold and black pain to give it more interest.

First Stencil: Festive Berries, Lucky Clover
Second Stencil: Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet
Third Stencil: Spiced Marmalade, Peacock Feathers, Salty Ocean, Kitsch Flamingo

I used a sentiment set from Miss Ink Stamps called Sunshine and Rainbows. It’s cute and has a lot of different rainbow and sunshine sentiments in fun fonts. I finished by adding some Clear Round Drops to the card.

I hope you like this fun rainbow card! Once I figured out the order of the colors I was using (it took some trial and error), I was really happy with how it turned out! I hope you enjoyed it!
