I’m back for more Make Magic Release inspiration! Today’s card uses a new set of stencils called Mod Layering Leaves. I wanted my card to have a different color palette, so I ink-blended with pinks instead of greens.

On a blank sheet of white paper, I blended a light coat of Distress Oxide Ink using Victorian Velvet. I blended darker at the top and faded lighter towards the bottom. Then I used the leaves layer to ink-blend with Worn Lipstick, again fading to the bottom. Lastly, I used Seedless Preserves for the decorative layer.

I trimmed this stenciled panel by a quarter inch to clean up the edges, then die-cut a frame from the A2 Thin Frames using gold glitter cardstock. Then I die-cut the sentiment from the Wish I Could Hug You dies using gold glitter cardstock and vellum.

I added thin strips of foam under the vellum to attach the sentiment to my card to give it dimension. I didn’t add jewels or anything because I felt the gold glitter was enough, but I could see the decorative parts on each leaf being blinged up!
