Hi Friends!

I’m sharing a set of cards today made using the Rainy Days die from the latest Simon Says Stamp Make Magic release. When I die-cut a rainbow, I try to use all of the pieces up. I didn’t make 8 cards, but I made 4 😅.

I die-cut the lower half of the girl in white and colored those with Copic markers, then I die-cut the umbrella pieces using Simon Says Stamp cardstock.

Copics:  R32, R35, R37, E0000, E51, E04, BG11, BG32, BG13

Cardstock:  Lipstick Red, Orange Peel, Banana, Green Apple, Audrey Blue, Island Blue, Lavender, Doll Pink, Sea Glass

For the background, I stenciled the clouds using the new Slimline Floral Builder Stencil using Cloudy Sky Ink. To ground the card, I used Smoke cardstock. I used the largest Stitched Rectangles die to die-cut a border around both panels to make them continuous.

Before attaching my girls, I inserted a brad at the center of my umbrellas. The little piece of cardstock that was there is tiny and I felt a brad made it much more interesting. To finish my set of cards, I used various sentiments from the Reverse Sunshine and Rainbows Sentiment Strips set. They have great sentiments to compliment these Rainy Days dies!
