Hi, Friends!

A special September 2021 Card Kit for Simon Says Stamp is here! We’re celebrating STAMPtember with not one, but TWO 6″ x 8″ stamp sets! I use almost everything for this post, but will share a special project tomorrow using one of the stamp set. The cards I share in this post use Sunshine Flowers as a second card made using P13 The Four Seasons Summer patterned paper.

The P13 The Four Seasons Summer 6″ x 6″ Paper is so pretty, I fussy cut around the illustration and created a card out of one of the sheets. For the background, I ink-blended some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink.

I attached the patterned paper over my ink-blended panel using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension. To finish, I attached a sentiment from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sentiment Label Stickers, then filled in the empty space with the Ranger Liquid Pearls in Rose Gold from my kit.

For my second card, I used an image from the Sunshine Flowers stamp set. I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers. When I was done coloring, I again fussy-cut this image as well.

Copics: 
Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Pinks:  [R81, RV52, RV55], [R81, R85, RV19]
Yellows:  Y00, Y15,  Y38
Greens: [G40, G43, G46], [G12, G05, G09], [G12, YG06, YG09]
Browns:  E31, E34, E35, E49

For layering, I die-cut a piece of cream cardstock using the largest Chunky Slimline Scallop Rectangles and ink-blended it with Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink. I adhered this ink-blended panel to a piece of P13 The Four Seasons Summer 6″ x 6″ Paper using the NEW Simon Says Stamp Craft Glue Stick! I was so excited to find this glue stick in my kit box (it’s in the first photo if you missed it!)

To finish, I wrapped some twine at the top of the scallops, then attached another Tim Holtz Idea-ology Sentiment Label Stickers sentiment . Once again, I used Ranger Liquid Pearls to add some drops to my card to give it additional interest. I hope you like it!!
