Today, I’m sharing a project made using the new Christmas Wreath stencil.

I used Simon Says Stamp dye inks to stencil the Christmas Wreath onto a white panel. I started with the Watermelon ink for the poinsettia, then darkened the centers with Schoolhouse Red ink. Next, I ink-ed up the pine sprigs using Evergreen ink. I used Key Lime ink for the holly and finally Teal ink for the floral branches.

When I was done stenciling with the colors, I kept the stencil in place to use some new Glitz Glitter Gel. I used the Citrine Glitz Glitter Gel for the poinsettia centers and Cherry Glitz Glitter Gel for the holly berries. For some added interest, I splattered my panel with some gold paint from my Finetec Mica Watercolor Palette.

The sentiment I used is from the new Love Peace Joy Rainbow stamp set. I embossed the words in white over black cardstock. Before adhering, I gathered up some gold thread and used the sentiment strips to hold them in place while adhering them down with foam adhesive.
