Today’s card features Pinkfresh Studio products. They are from a previous release that I admired and I’ve been waiting for a good time to honker down to foil. Foiling can be fussy and time consuming, but I’m happy to say that I’m getting more comfortable with it and got great results with each attempt for today’s card.

To begin, I foiled the Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate and Inna’s Alpha Hot Foil Plates. If you don’t want to hot foil the letters, there is a stamp set! Since I was foiling and had all the products out, I foiled two sets of alphabets. Then I stenciled the letters with the Inna’s Alpha Stencils. This stencil set has 5 layers so it took me a while to get through. When done, I die-cut the letters and set them aside to work on the Garden Roses set.

I stamped the Garden Roses stamp set using a black ink (it does not have a coordinating foil plate). I then used the Garden Roses Stencil set to stencil on the color. There was also 5 stencils to this set so I used the same colors I used on the Inna’s Alpha Stencils. I stenciled two clusters because I wanted to frame a 5″ x 7″ card and still be able to see the Abstract Triangles Hot Foil Plate in the background.

Roses: Passion Fruit, Raspberry Bliss, Candy Apple
Leaves: Key Lime, Emerald City
Letters and background: Coral Reef

To help my letters stand out, I colored the white border on each letter with a black Copic marker. I then ink-blended the background panel before attaching my floral clusters. I finished by centering my letters and attaching it also with foam adhesive.
