The Lawn Fawn Summer Release is here! I’ve made lots of cards and have been sharing inspiration leading up to the release. If you missed it, keep reading and I’ll recap with photos and links to those posts below. For today’s post, I’ve made a card using the Art Supplies and Canvas and Easel dies. I think these are going to be popular!
These dies are so fun!!! I started with the Canvas and Easel dies and die-cut the easel and stool using light brown woodgrain cardstock. The canvas is die-cut in white cardstock. I ink-blended Crunchy Leaf ink around the edges of the easel and used the residual ink from my brush for a very soft blend on the canvas – i didn’t want it to look too brown.
The Art Supplies die set has a lot more pieces that coordinate well with the Canvas and Easel dies. I used white cardstock as well as Lawn Fawn cardstock to die-cut all the pieces and ink-blended them with coordinating ink.
Cardstock used: Woodgrain Lt Brown, Vanilla Malt, Guava, Apricot, Sticky Note, Cilantro, Moonstone
Ink used: Guava, Carrot, Sunflower, Jalapeno, Peacock, Fish Tank, Juice Box, Crunchy Leaf
The sentiment on the card is from the Color My World set and it fit perfectly inside the large paint splat. I also used a C5 copic marker to color the lids of the paint tubes.
