Today’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration week card features the Giant Hooray die as well as the Lots of Stars Background Stencils. It’s easy to combine these two projects for a congratulatory card!
To create my background, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky, and Prize Ribbon. I added in splotches all over and blended them together with a lighter or darker shade until I was happy with the blend, leaving the center white. Next, I splattered the panel with white paint.
There are two layers to the Lots of Stars Background Stencils. Using one layer, I inked random stars using white pigment ink and others with Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink. Then using the second layer, I inked with Prize Ribbon on some and then used Gold Paper Glaze on others.
The Giant Hooray is stacked with 3 layers of white and one layer of Matte Gold cardstock. I finished by adding two shooting star images from the Super Star set and a sentiment from the How You Bean? Star Add-On set.
