Hi, friends!

I have a few projects to share with you today using new products from the latest Concord & 9th release! It’s all so wonderful so I tried to use as much as I could for this post.

It’s the perfect amount of cute/fun and pretty for me to swoon over it all! Let’s talk about each one individually!

My first card uses the Triple-Step Hi stamp and die set. I started by die-cutting the outline with the word cut out. I popped out the flowers and leaves and colored them with Copic markers (R20, R22, Y15, RV63, RV08, RV66, YG06, YG09). When done, I in-laid them back in place and held them together on the backside with foam adhesive.

The background uses the Double Stripe Card Front Die. This fabulous die allows you to cut the die portrait and landscape so the stitched lines go both ways. As you can see, for this card, I turned my card panel so that I could get diagonal stitching. I finished by stamping a sentiment from the Triple-Step Hi stamp. There are banner dies included that help cut the sentiment strip, too.

My second card uses the Blended Petals Stamp, Die, and Stencils. I started by stamping my image with a crisp black ink and embossing it with clear embossing powder. Next, I used the stencils to ink-blend the colors onto it (Parsley, Buttercup, Honeysuckle, Sorbet).

As you can see, for the background, I used the Double Stripe Card Front Die to die-cut vertical stripes. I attached my image with foam adhesive and finished with an embossed sentiment from the Blended Petals Stamp.

My third card uses the Popsicle Party Stencils. There are different patterns and combinations you can use to add color to create this background. The popsicles are so much fun! I masked off the popsicles and ink-blended them in random order for the rainbow popsicles. When done, I splattered some water over the panel to give it more texture.

The sentiment is from the Just Amazing die set. There are two large die-cut sentiments and the color options are endless! I used the same ink-colors to ink-blend a rainbow for the sentiment.

Ink colors used: Poppy, Buttercup, Sprout, Oceanside, Midnight, Eggplant, Wheat

My last card uses the Sweet Summer Stamp, Die and Stencil set and is much more simple. I used the stencils first to stencil grapefruit onto the large popsicle before die-cutting it.

Ink colors used: Grapefruit, Sorbet, Sea Glass, Wheat

I used the Double Stripe Card Front Die for the background and lightly ink-blended some Sea Glass ink onto the background before adhering the popsicle over it. I finished this one with a piece of twine that I wrapped around the panel and tied a bow.
