I’ve made quite an investment in die sets – they’re metal cutters that you run through a die cut machine to cut your desired image. If you’re not a card maker or papercrafter – you probably have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s OK! I learned very quickly early on that there are many options in … More Storing Dies
I’m showcasing a kit from the Sale-A-Bration catalog today. I used a kit called Big Day to make a card for my sister-in-law’s birthday next week. I’m pretty proud of myself because I didn’t get an idea of pinterest this time – I forced myself to get creative! I matted my card with a piece of card stock … More Big Day
My mother in law makes quilts…TONS of them! I’d like to steal at least 3 of them for myself, but I’m sure she knows her inventory. This is the first year we’ve been away from our families. It’s a bittersweet exchange for a little more privacy and peace, but there’s always a void I know can’t be filled because we’re missing out on all the usual traditions that we’ve been so used to for the past 10 years. I get excited … More All Things Christmas 2014
My sister, Gwen, started a new business this past summer and has been doing really well. As a gift, I made this establishment sign for her. I start the design freehand using a pencil and once I’m happy with how it looks, I go over it with a ball point pen. That’s all. And it … More Establishment Sign, Paper Wreath, Coasters, Paper Bird House (Miscellaneous Crafts)

You can’t do much when you don’t have paper. Before I started investing in Stampin’ Up paper, I had a left over collection of pastel cardstock that I purchased to make baby shower invitations and just a handful of stuff that my next door neighbor Karen had given me.
